As one of the region’s most influential energy events, EGYPES plays a vital role in bringing together industry leaders, international companies, and key stakeholders to exchange expertise, explore investment opportunities, and strengthen strategic partnerships. ELAB’s participation highlighted its active role as a representative of the petrochemicals sector under the sponsorship of ECHEM and the umbrella of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

A key highlight of the exhibition was the recognition of Dr. Eng. Ayman El Garrem, Chairman of ELAB, by Eng. Alaa Eldin Abdel Fattah, Chairman of ECHEM, in appreciation of ELAB’s remarkable achievement in significantly increasing production rates.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, ELAB held several productive meetings with sister companies and success partners, including UOP, where negotiations were initiated for a major agreement considered one of the most important steps toward plant expansion and increasing production capacity.

Moreover, ELAB demonstrated a distinguished and effective presence through communication with various suppliers of feedstock materials and spare parts, while also studying global market needs and trends for Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), supporting future expansion plans and sustainable production growth.

Under the patronage of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company, The Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Company (ELAB) has organized an Operational and Process Safety program as part of the company’s commitment to strengthening occupational safety and health systems, in line with the petroleum sector’s direction toward reinforcing operational safety concepts and enhancing workplace performance efficiency.

Dr. Eng. Ayman El-Garem, Chairman of ELAB, emphasized the importance of investing in human capital through specialized training programs, considering them one of the key pillars for supporting a safe work environment and promoting awareness of operational safety concepts and risk prevention measures. This contributes to safeguarding employees and assets while ensuring the continuity and efficiency of operational processes.

ELAB reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the implementation of specialized training programs that contribute to embedding a culture of safety as a shared responsibility and a fundamental priority, in alignment with the strategy of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the state’s vision toward a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable future.

He acknowledged ELAB's role in boosting exports and supporting the government’s strategy for economic growth in the petrochemical sector. He expressed full support for ongoing projects that create jobs and increase foreign currency revenues, concluding with appreciation for the employees' dedication.

In a scene reflecting a high level of national awareness and genuine spirit of belonging, ELAB employees flocked to polling stations across various governorates to cast their votes in the 2025 Senate elections on Monday, July 4, 2025, and Tuesday, July 5, 2025.
